If you have hidden apps on your iPhone and want to delete them, you’ll need to unhide them first, as hidden apps cannot be deleted directly from the home screen. Here’s how you can unhide and then delete apps on your iPhone:

Unhiding Apps:

  1. Access App Library:
    • Swipe left on your home screen to access the App Library, where all your apps are organized automatically.
  2. Search for the Hidden App:
    • Use the search bar at the top of the screen to search for the app you want to unhide.
  3. Unhide the App:
    • Once you find the app in the search results, tap and hold the app icon until a menu appears.
  4. Select “Unhide”:
    • In the menu, look for an option that says “Unhide” or a similar term. Tap on it to unhide the app.

Deleting Apps:

After you’ve unhidden the app, you can proceed to delete it:

  1. Locate the App:
    • Find the app you want to delete on your home screen or in the App Library.
  2. Enter Edit (Jiggle) Mode:
    • Press and hold the app icon until all the app icons start to jiggle.
  3. Look for the “X” Icon:
    • Check for an “X” icon in the top-left corner of the app icon or next to the app name. This “X” indicates that the app can be deleted.
  4. Delete the App:
    • Tap on the “X” icon of the app you want to delete. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
  5. Confirm Deletion:
    • Confirm that you want to delete the app by selecting “Delete” on the confirmation pop-up.
  6. Exit “Jiggle Mode”:
    • Press the side or home button (depending on your iPhone model) to exit “jiggle mode” and stop the icons from jiggling.

The app will be deleted from your iPhone. Remember that deleting an app removes it from your device, but it does not cancel any subscriptions associated with the app. If you want to reinstall a deleted app, you can download it again from the App Store. Apps you’ve purchased or downloaded before can typically be reinstalled without additional charges.
