In Excel, “End mode” is a feature that allows you to navigate to the last cell in a continuous range of data in a worksheet. You can turn on End mode using the keyboard. Here’s how:

  1. Press End.

When you press the “End” key, Excel enters End mode. Once in End mode, you can use arrow keys to navigate to the last cell in a contiguous range of data. For example:

  • Press End + Down Arrow to move to the last cell in the column.
  • Press End + Right Arrow to move to the last cell in the row.
  • Press End + Up Arrow to move to the first cell in the column.
  • Press End + Left Arrow to move to the first cell in the row.

Remember that End mode is particularly useful when you have a large dataset, and you want to quickly navigate to the end of a row or column with data.

To exit End mode, simply press the arrow key corresponding to the direction you want to move.
