Embedding a YouTube video in PowerPoint allows you to play the video directly within your presentation. Here are the steps to embed a YouTube video in PowerPoint:

For PowerPoint 2013, 2016, 2019, and Microsoft 365:

  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Navigate to the slide where you want to insert the YouTube video.

  4. Click on the “Video” dropdown in the “Media” group.
  5. Select “Online Video…” from the options.

Remember that for the embedded YouTube video to play, you need an internet connection. If the video doesn’t play, make sure that your computer is connected to the internet and that the YouTube video is not set to private.
